“Do what you love and love what you do.”

Combining my passion for sports with my love for camp gave me the vision to launch the MVP Sports Tour.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life, from my experiences playing competitive basketball, soccer, and lacrosse, to watching my favorite professional teams in South Florida. In addition, I’ve been heavily involved in camping/young adult programs throughout my life.

I attended Camp Manitou in Waterville, Maine for 10 years as a camper, and 3 years as the assistant basketball director. During my last summer at Manitou, I was selected by the owners of the camp to lead a team of 125 campers during our ‘college league’, where campers compete in athletic events over a 6-week period.

In the summer of 2012, I became a Unit Leader at Camp Equinunk, where I supervised daily activities for 50 campers ages 8 to 10 years old.

After graduating from SUNY Binghamton University with a bachelors degree in Psychology, I worked for Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach County in South Florida. During my time at Hillel, I organized, staffed and led two Birthright trips, educational 10-day heritage trips to Israel for Jewish young adults. I was also responsible for a community service trip for 40 college students to help repair and revitalize areas of New Orleans still affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Throughout these experiences, I have learned the importance of planning, staffing, programming, and safety when leading a group of campers/young adults.

I started MVP Sports Tour because I know how much these camps and programs have enriched my life, and because I know how much I would have loved a sports focused summer program growing up. By combining all of the things I loved about camp and sports with my extensive knowledge and experiences with developing and leading trips around the world, I have created, what I believe, will be the ultimate sports experience!
